    Kristina Klessmann, Management Consultant

Foto_Kristina_Klessmann_FOOB_GmbHA truly agile organization requires a fundamentally reassessed understanding of leadership. Our human resources expert and change manager Kristina expects HR departments to lead the way as “Company ScrumMaster“ by embodying agile leadership and showing management teams how to help their employees redefine their roles and responsibilities. Whenever Kristina Klessmann scales Scrum in her projects, she leads the way as such a Company ScrumMaster and guides HR employees towards taking over this role in the long-term. Besides her specialization in Agile HR, Kristina supports her clients with extensive experience in Product Owner responsibilities. She is known to create great transparency – from the strategic direction behind product development to the prioritization of the smallest requirements – all in order to highlight dependencies between teams, different departments and the market environment of a company. In scaled agile environments, Kristina assists Product Owners with their tasks, advices them on the customization of their release processes and guides them through the set-up of company-wide backlogs. Kristina is very direct and does not beat around the bush. Her directness mixed with her humor are the key to mutual understanding and trust.

Stephanie Gasche specializes in scaling agile environments and forming internationally distributed teams. As Interim ScrumMaster, she works together with her team and different organizational hierarchies to ensure that the cooperation between those concerned runs smoothly. Kristina Barisic, Management Consultant & Sales

Foto_Kristina_Barisic_FOOB_GmbHWorking with agile methods and principles is one thing – Kristina Barisic easily puts this into practice as Interim ScrumMaster for individual development teams or in scaled environments as Company ScrumMaster. Not only does she know Scrum and its many tools, she also enjoys blending it with additional methods such as Kanban to optimize the processes between customers, business, management, and development teams. However, what is the next step that needs to be taken once Scrum is implemented and a company is on its official way towards become an agile organization? To successfully scale agility within an organization, one has to work very closely with the human resources department. To Kristina, HR is the partner of the management that ensures the productivity of the organization. In order for this new identity and understanding to become ingrained, the industrial and organizational psychologist develops suitable human resources and management instruments together with her clients’ HR departments that reflect and support the agile mindset.

Karl Bredemeyer, Management Consultant & Trainer

Karl BredemeyerInspection and hands-on adaption of what customers want and need is what our entrepreneur Karl Bredemeyer does best. When reflecting on the product development process of his own former start-up, this business economist from Berlin describes it to have been “intuitively agile“. Karl’s focus during Scrum implementations lies with the role of the Product Owner. However, his support is not limited to coaching others towards better fulfilling their responsibility and tasks. Instead, he himself happily takes on the product development responsibility in the role of an Interim Product Owner, allowing him to groom his backlog, prioritize and estimate User Stories with his team, work on the release forecast and collaborate closely with his customers. Karl Bredemeyer masters this role while exuding an inner calm that provides guidance and security. In combination with his openness, this tranquility turns him into the ideal mediator between different parties and interests within an organization. His favorite tool – Visual Scrum – helps Karl in this process. Together with the Kommunikationslotsen, Karl has devised a vocabulary of quickly sketched images that visually help those involved in an agile transition to develop a shared understanding of Scrum and Agility.

      Damla Koc, Management Consultant

Little can be achieved without commitment – particularly when it comes to actually changing something. Commitment is most easily identified through action, which is why Damla Koc decided to take an active role in her community at the age of 19 as the youngest member of a district council in Vienna. This bureaucratic environment has taught Damla that it is impossible to kick-off change through discussions. Instead, in order to create something new, one has to have a goal and act upon it. Having an effect is the most important result of her daily work with Scrum teams. As an industrial and organizational psychologist, Damla uses this talent and her roles as ScrumMaster and coach to bring together diverse opinions and different human beings. Her positive attitude is contagious and motivates others to participate. The fact that the Turkish-Austrian feels at home in two cultures helps her to handle strengths and weaknesses with care and reminds her to focus on similarities rather than opposites.

        Christoph Schmiedinger, Management Consultant

To Christoph Schmiedinger, agile product development is the only manner of working that is able to meet tomorrow’s market demands. After graduating from high school, Christoph went straight to work for the product development department of the world market leader of communication and information solutions in safety-critical environments. There, he first applied agile practices as system engineer and later as development project manager. His many roles during his career taught him the importance of trusting and giving autonomy to one’s employees, particularly when it comes to having teams deliver high quality products at a fast pace. Having also worked as a Product Owner, Christoph is a big fan of the agile way of requirement prioritization as it focuses one’s attention on the actual business value of a product. Determination is one of the most distinctive character traits of Christoph Schmiedinger. He did not only finish his studies on time while employed part-time, he even graduated summa cum laude. When working with Christoph, one notices right away that commitment is his favorite agile value, as he appreciates the trust that he gains through it.

        Katja Keller, Management Consultant

In order to solve a problem, one needs to be able to understand the different stances and various perspectives surrounding it. This personal belief of Katja Keller is reflected in her studies: as a computer scientist and business economist, she is not only able to look at the technical feasibility, but can also judge the commercial viability of IT solutions. This Berliner not only has her analytical intellect, but also her experience regarding complex national and international IT projects to rely on.

To Katja, commitment is the most important agile value. On the one hand, it means to get to the bottom of things to identify possible interconnections, while on the other hand it highlights her character trait of finishing what she has started and keeping her promises. In this context of reliability and dependability, Katja Keller very much enjoys working together with people to create something better from their individual contributions than could have been realized by a singular person
