The 10 things I use in my professional life most of the time:

1) Mail.app and Google Mail / Google Apps

Google Mail, or Google Apps together with the best Mail Client on the Mac makes my life easier. They are my communication backbone. Sure I use also Skype and sometimes GTalk, but Email is still my number one communication instrument.

2) Keynote

I am dependent of a good presentation programme. Keynote is the number one application in this field. It is easy to use and you can easily put pictures in it. Since I use more and more slides in the style of presentationzen, I need less fancier software to run my presentations.

3) www.wordpress.com

Writing is my passion. I believe that writing a blog, blocks me a bit from writing my next book. Writing with wordpress is fun. It helps me to stay focused. My blog is also a tool that helps me to get new ideas.

4) Moleskines Notebooks

The only notebook that is worth its money. Oh, of course you can use different notebooks, but only this one is a book. It remains in form, it looks still good after using it for months.

5) A watch – I like design. At the moment I use a Citizen Eco-Drive. It makes sure I am always on time.

6) iPhone — Since I use an iPhone, my pictures of the classes are faster online than ever.

7) Google-Docs, and Pages

I write a lot with different tools. For collaborative documents I use Google.docs for business writing Pages. My books I write with Scrivener and the markup I do with Latex.

8) Neuland Markers and Post-its

I am addicted to good flip-chart markers. I still do not understand why companies do not try to get the best material for this. I use Neuland markers.

9) Highrise, www.37Signals.com

Not the best CRM system, but one that is easy to use and good enough for me.

10) Google Spreadsheets

98% of all jobs that needs a spreadsheet can be done by google spreadsheets. Nothing is more easy to share. Great!
