Since I was a student I struggle with researching and keeping notes and citations. When I wrote my book, I was lucky because I did not had too much and could use stuff directly from the books I was reading.
But my next project is too big to do this. I will write my dissertation about “What is Software?” and I will need a huge amount of quotes and a lot of literature to work with.
Can you help me? What way of tools do you use for keeping all your quotes and notes? What system worked for you?
